Thank you for your gracious support of my editorial cartoons, it has meant a great deal, and I look forward to continuing to foist my opinion on an unsuspecting world in 2026. If you are reading this it is because you are one of a handful of selected readers whose opinions I think the world of. My editor will be submitting three of my 2025 cartoons for consideration in the Better Newspaper Contest journalism awards for the New York Press Association in the editorial cartoon division.  I am the editorial cartoonist for the The East Aurora Advertiser in East Aurora, NY (www.eastaurorany.com) When I first approached the Advertiser about submitting cartoons, I was assuming most of my work would deal mostly with local issues. However, the Aurora readers are very educated on events beyond the town line, and the Advertiser gives plenty of space for reader opinion on all sides, an impressive luxury that I don't think most Advertiser readers understand is an anomaly. I do love to lurk and hear what people think of their own hometown. The price of living in a Hallmark-esque village is the attention you get. A bait & shoot deer control plan, and some crafty deer painting themselves to look like two local horses, "Sandy" the kiddie ride at Vidler's, and the welcome horse in the roundabout.
